YEAH!!!

My parents own a cabin. (we be leaving as soon as the girls wake up! SHEESH!)
Anyways.. my mom calls me last night to get a hummingbird feeder if I'm out.. seems the bear was back and knocked the crap out of my dad's that was up there and also the other bird feeder. LOL! Must have been p.o.'d that dad hadn't been up on a regular basis last year due to his hip issues! LOL! And no, we aren't afraid of the dumb bear.. he only wants the bird seed and corn that my dad sits out. We honestly had thought he (the bear) had left since Dad hadn't been up but 3 times last year!

GARAGE SALE SCORE
I got a dora twin sheet set for $4... and a pooh one for $1! Emma got a bunch of dresses for a buck each! And I got Sadie a brand new, in package, Playskool palm pilot thingy that does ABC's and 123's for $5! I was more stoked about my sheets than anything! LOL!

We went to May Fair last night.. Sadie was trying to get into the bounce house.. we wouldn't let her though.. it was mostly older kids. We were afraid for her safety, even though she is a bruiser. teehee.. She is now taller than her 2 year old cousin, Derek. (oh my) They tend to go back and forth, but she has now sprouted about an inch, to an inch and a half taller than him.

As for my Veggie garden.. our peas have started to sprout. My onions are about 3 inches high. I don't see an any action on my carrots... which saddens me.. but hopefully it's just early yet. Nothing on the 'maters or peppers or broccoli yet either. I do have 2 string bean plants that are growing, I need to put them in seperate pots, as I ran out of room in my garden! ROFL! Pics to come...

Sadie has started to say bubbles!! Her speech is finally starting to take off!!!

Emma is recognizing the words one, six, yes, to, mom. And she knows the meaning of to. And last night, she was READING a book to me. Granted.. "The lion. The tiger." But SHE was READING it!!! LOL!

Must be the moon...

Because my husband is pretty assanine lately too. Last night, I came home from work and we had to pay bills, this was at 9:45pm. Emma was still up. She is to be in bed at 9:30pm. He lets her stay up later. I told them both, that this was totally against my wishes.. as I set her bedtime as 9:30. (actually 9, but dh negotiated for the 9:30 because we put Sadie down at 9 and she is a screamer when she goes in) Dishes were still in the sink. He says that he works all day too. I said, excuse me? I babysit during the day for money.. then as soon as he gets home.. I leave to go to the pizza shop. He works all day. Got that. He comes home and makes supper.. SOMETIMES! I'm sorry if I didn't get supper made. I had a little baby that just wanted held all day. I had our 2 children that were quite whiny. I have a bully and his brother. And I had Morgan. So now.. tonight... I have 3 kiddos in addition to my own. I work tonight too. I DARE him to come home and say about habing to work all day. I DARE him. He will have to get the trash out, if I don't get time to do it. Which, normally, I do. AND.. I'm coming down with a bad cold.. starting as a sinus infection right now. And by HIS snores last night.. he's getting a cold too. But you know what.. he'll whine until he gets to sleep all freaking day because I'm tired of hearing him. But yet, I'll continue. Know why? Because I am mom.

Welp..

I'm trying to be better about this! LOL! And FAILING!

I'm in the process of planning a 65th bday party for my parents. I'm helping with my husband's uncle's 50th bday party. Trying to keep up after our house chores. We have dug a garden this weekend. So Emma and I will be planting seeds in there. We hope to grow a good bit of our veggies this summer. Both my kids are veggie eaters.. so that will save some money! WOOHOO! I have also started a weight loss blog. I NEED to get the weight off. I am at my heaviest right now. :(

Holidays

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and take the time to remember what we are most thankful for this day.

I'm so thankful for my 2 wonderful daughters and husband. I'm thankful for my family and all that they do for us and with us.

On another note, our Christmas tree is up! We put it up on Wednesday, but we just got it decorated last night. Emma was a trip. "This is the most beautiful tree ever! Santa is going to be sooo surprised!" LOL! So, we got the best tree ever, until next year! :P

sheesh

What a roller coaster life is sometimes! Sadie has been into EVERYTHING since she started walking. She is destructive to no end! And we love her! LOL! Poor Emma, is learning to keep her things up.. and gets frustrated with Sadie at times. I'm also noticing that when I'm doing things with Emma, she is trying to be right between us. Sheesh. So.. in trying to juggle the girls.. and get some Christmas shopping done, life has been CRAZY! We are going "green" this Christmas, and buying toys from people that are selling them. It's amazing what green we are saving! LOL! And we aren't going overboard this year. Economy is a BIG reason!

NEGLECT!

Sorry... I've been sorely neglecting this blog. Life is HECTIC with two little ones. Life as I was use to, is over! LOL! Sadie is 10 months old and is growing soo fast, almost 1!! Emma will soon be 3 and is little miss attitude! I can't believe that we are celebrating birthdays already! We also have a trip to the beach coming up that both girls seem to be looking forward to. I do worry about Sadie's development, she seems to be a lot slower than what Emma was.. :(

6 month stats

I can't believe Sadie is 6 months already!
EEK!!!

anyways!

19 3/4 pounds
28 inches long
17 3/4 head circum

To put this in perspective, the goal weight of a 12 month old is 20 pounds.

She's ahead in other aspects. She's moving and grooving already. Sitting un-supported too. And BABBLING away! Her and Emma are so sweet together! I'm so happy we had them so close together. Yes, it is trying sometimes, but you know.. ALL WORTH IT!

My babies!

they speak a million words..

Are they not precious? Sadie is almost sitting up! She can do about a minute sitting up on her own. Emma is the most AWESOME big sister ever! She's so concerned about Sadie, it's really unbelievable how well she gets along with Sadie. Let's see.. Sadie is semi-mobile too! She rolls all over the place. No point in putting her on a blanket anymore!

Dad's in the rehab hospital. He fell last Monday on the ice and broke a part of his hip joint. He had to have a partial hip replacement. His ordeal in the ER was horrible, but he got on well with the hospital staff. They transferred him yesterday at 3pm to the rehab facilities. He was up cruising today in the PT room and doing steps already! WOWZERS!

Christmas come and gone.. New Year the same!

YAY! Although I love Christmas time, I hate the traveling of it on Christmas Day. I would LOVE to be able to just stay home Christmas day. Emma had no time to play with her toys. We couldn't take them into any place we went to, for fear of jealousy. While she knows how to share and shares well.. it's just not fair to me to have to share your new toys on Christmas day before you get to play with them yourself.

So.. anyways.. more pics!

SHEESH!

Life sure is busy now! Who knew adding one kiddo to the mix... could wreck havock on my internet time! LOL! Anyways.. Sadie is doing fabulously! Growing so quickly.. as well as Emma! Emma knows more than some of the kindergarteners at my school do! EEK! She can tell you her first and last name.. how to spell her first name and we are working on her last name spelling. As well as her phone number. She recognizes all colors, shapes, numbers and letters. She can count from 1-20.. but not backwards! *scratches head!* And the things she comes up with these days! LOL! We are working on lots of "cafts" (crafts) this time of the year.. we try to do at least 1-2 a night. She is quite the artsy kiddo! Anyways.. new pics!

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to my dear sister. Has it really been another year? What would we be doing today? What kind of cake would you be having? Do you know that you were the glue for many things? What would you be thinking today? Would you be proud of your neices? How proud you would be of your children. They are so big and doing wonderful things. The twins have started school this year and are doing great! (at least according to them) I didn't understand much of what they were saying about school when I called to talk to them as they were sooo excited. Sarah tells me she does lots of singing in school. I think she will take after you in that department! Jordan has a teacher that was at YH and is doing great. I hear little updates. I love and miss you Deidre Louise!

Monday, October 15, 2007

so.. to re-cap

Things are going. I start back to work on Monday. That has me quite depressed.

What should be my sister's birthday is tomorrow. That has me depressed.

Today was Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remebrance Day, the fact that I have a child to remember on this day, has me REALLY depressed.

How strapped we are financially right now with me off work, has me depressed.

My dad's toe has me worried.

My dad's health, has me worried.

The fact that I get stressed so easy, worries me.

The fact that I have to see a cancer doctor, REALLY stresses me out.

The fact that I have no idea what I'm doing most days, has me concerned.

Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance Day

Did you light a candle?

Monday, October 08, 2007

and today..

dad's toe is re-infected. He can't seem to get rid of the infection. He has no bone left in the toe.. so at least it's not spreading to the bone! ;) (go with the positives!)

First day without Jason.. and I actually got more sleep than I did when he was home. More dishes.. but.. more sleep.. LOL!

Sunday, October 07, 2007

busy

Trying to get a 2 year old and a month old on a schedule is HEYAL!! Emma is having some jealousy issues.. when we are trying to take care of Sadie's personal needs, then all of a sudden Emma needs one of us. Luckily, Jason has been home. Unfortunately, he returns to work on Monday. Soo.. ask me how my sanity is on Saturday. ;)

Emma has started potty training. Another looonnnnggg journey! SHE wanted to wear the big girl panties. SHE wanted to pee potty. Fine. I went with it. She did it!!! So now.. during the day when I have her, she is in panties of naked. When Jason has her, she is normally in a diaper. I love half ass potty training. *sigh*

Sadie is doing well, growing and changing so fast. She has started to smile for us occasionally. YAY!

Dad... I worry about him so. Last weekend he had a blood pressure issue, which seems to have resolved itself. They did adjust his medication, so we will see if that helps to keep it down. (shhh.. Aunt Nancy!)

Jason and I have battles as to him helping out around the house. He's great with the girls and helps out with them a lot. But, I need the help around the house too. He tends to tune me out, which ROYALLY pisses me off! We had a "conversation" this afternoon about it. He hears what he wants to hear in the conversation, then says I never told him the others when confronted. GRRR!!

Alright, enough of an update/rant for now.

Thursday, October 04, 2007

one month

12 pounds, 12 ounces
22.5 inches long
15.5 cm's on her head

what did she do to me?!

I have pain now! OUCH! My back pain is back.. with a vengeance and my right shoulder is popping. Incidently, the back pain is also on the right. Odd. I'm also have pain in the front section of my stomach, that I'm monitoring, I wonder if it's my appendix now! SHEESH!

Sunday, September 30, 2007

would you believe..

that I actually miss my big ol' pg belly? LOL! I was sooo miserable the last trimester, and yet.. I look at the budha belly pics and miss it so. Oh well, I will never have that chance again. My tubes were indeed done with the section.

Anyways.. I came on here to post a proud mommy moment! Emma has 15 stickers on her potty chart! YOU GO GIRL! I'm so proud of her. We only started (she wanted to start) 3 days ago! WOOHOO! so far today, we have had big girl panties on for 2 hours and NO accidents! :D Now.. poop is another issue.. LOL!
