BEDTIME!

It's 11pm, and Emma has been transferred to the pack n play.. in our room. I had to make room to set the darn thing up again.. but decided to do that. So far so good.. She's asleep with one of the blankie's from Auntie Suzs! *PHEW*

This is in addition to the above. She stayed in her pack n play till 5am! She woke at 2am to eat again. I seriously don't know where this child puts her food! She ate oatmeal before going to bed and finished off her bottle.. that was at 9. Then wakes again at 2 to eat another 4 ounces, then again at 5 for 2 ounces then again at 8:30 for 4 ounces! OMG! She is most definately in 6-9 months clothing now.. it's not the width that she needs, but the length. Mil and fil got her this one outfit that I swore was too long for her yet, well blow me down, it fits her perfectly! OMG! She's gonna be a tall girl! Her next doctor appointment is March 1st for her 6 month check up and shots.

Trying again...

It seems as though we are ready. We haven't been careful at all this cycle. So if I do/am pregnant, we will be ecstatic! I guess I'm going to use this as a journal for me. More than just Emma along, but for our family as a whole. Emma is doing wonderfully. We love her more and more everyday. Her personaility is emerging and she is all herself. It's great to watch her changes! As for Jason and I, money is continually a problem. I only wish that the school paid more. As it is, I will most likely be resigning at the end of this school year. I don't want to work 2 jobs anymore with Emma around, and the pizza shop pays far more than the school does. It's a shame. I love working with the kids.

Not much...

... Is going on! I'm sick and Emma's sick. She's coughing and had a fever yesterday 100.2 I called the Ped, and they said not to worry unless her symptoms get worse. So, I'm not going to worry. (yeah right!) She's still keeping liquids in and eating like a champ, so that's good! She's growing up so quickly. I cry whenever I think of her going to college or getting married! Makes me sad! That being said, I'm very proud for what she has accomplished so far, and then I worry about what she's NOT accomplishing!

She's starting to try and hold her bottle more and more. The 4 ouncers, she can hold for short periods of time. She's rolling from front to back more and more. She can get to her side from her back, but not the whole way over yet. (the one thing I worry about) Her babble is starting to change too. It's not just the normal cooing, it's almost like she is trying to form letters now! And that's about it for now!

*sigh* another year

I'm another year closer to 30. EGHADS! Where does the time go? I still remember days in high school! Anyways, the plans for today included, watching my oldest nephew, he actually spent the night with us and then stayed all day. Tonight, we, as in dh and I are going to Texas Roadhouse for supper.

Yesterday, we had Emma baptized in my church. Her gown was made from my wedding gown and means so much to me. I just about bawled when I first saw it. I am so tickled that she wore my gown! The woman that made it, actually made it look like a miniature of mine. We had so many family members show up for the service, I was so surprised!

My sister was accepted for a study at the University of Philadelphia. She started this past Friday with the experimental drug and will continue going down to Philly once a week.

saddened a bit

Well, af has been spotted. By this I am a bit saddened. I was kind of hoping to be pregnant. Don't ask me why so soon. I know that this should be seen as a good thing in disguise.

GROWING up!

My baby girl is getting so big! She had her 4 month appointment... FOUR MONTHS... on Tuesday 1-3-06. She now weighs 14 pounds 9 ounces and is 24.75 inches long! WOW! She's growing so fast! We have started her on peas and butternut squash so far. She is really loving her food! (mess time for mommy though!) She will be getting baptized on Sunday 1-15-06 in the church that dh and I got married in.

As far as mommy goes.. I got my path reports back. The two moles that were removed came back NON malignant! WOOHOO! I am now well into my 3rd year cancer free!

Emma's not rolled over since Thursday.. was Thursday just a fluke? UGH! MOTHERHOOD is one big question! LOL!

Emma's got her 4 month appointment tomorrow.. yeah.. more shots! They said that we could wait on the Tylenol till after she is weighed, so that she gets a more accurate dosage this time. I'm anxious to hear her weight and length! I know that she's grown leaps and bounds since her last appointment!
How depressing. Only 14 days till I'm one year away from 30! YIKES!

Emma has slept two nights in her own crib. This is hell for me. I'm awake at every little sound and am so dayum tired! I brought her in with me this morning to eat at 4 and just fell asleep with her. I was so tired and sleep so much better with her in bed with me. I know it was a bad thing to do, but I was just so dayum tired!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We celebrated the new year with Emma spending the ENTIRE night in her crib. She slept pretty well, however, I slept AWFUL! Dh was looking forward to her sleeping in her crib so that we could finally cuddle. Did we cuddle.. HEYAL NO! I was asleep by 11:30.. he came in sometime later, not even sure what time! He did get up the night with Emma.. she fussed 2 times. Once for her paci and another to eat. Then she was down till 6.

We now have her eating cereal 2 times a day, sometimes 3. She just loves the stuff! When she does eat cereal, she only has the left over formula from a 4 ounce bottle afterwards. I also started mixing in some veggies for her. So far, I have tried peas and butternut squash. The squash went over better than the peas! It's not a lot of baby food that she's getting, enough to give the cereal a different taste for lunch and supper. She actually lunges for the spoon and tries to take it from me!

As far as growing, she's now grabbing toys on her own.. she rolled from front to back once..(hasn't done it again :( )... and pulls herself to a sitting position then to a standing position. Last night as she was watching Mackenzie, she started moving her legs while she was standing on them to try and take steps! Its was quite funny watching her try to imitate Mackenzie! Little girl has been doing a lot of growing lately! It seems to be all at once!
