SHEESH!

Life sure is busy now! Who knew adding one kiddo to the mix... could wreck havock on my internet time! LOL! Anyways.. Sadie is doing fabulously! Growing so quickly.. as well as Emma! Emma knows more than some of the kindergarteners at my school do! EEK! She can tell you her first and last name.. how to spell her first name and we are working on her last name spelling. As well as her phone number. She recognizes all colors, shapes, numbers and letters. She can count from 1-20.. but not backwards! *scratches head!* And the things she comes up with these days! LOL! We are working on lots of "cafts" (crafts) this time of the year.. we try to do at least 1-2 a night. She is quite the artsy kiddo! Anyways.. new pics!

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to my dear sister. Has it really been another year? What would we be doing today? What kind of cake would you be having? Do you know that you were the glue for many things? What would you be thinking today? Would you be proud of your neices? How proud you would be of your children. They are so big and doing wonderful things. The twins have started school this year and are doing great! (at least according to them) I didn't understand much of what they were saying about school when I called to talk to them as they were sooo excited. Sarah tells me she does lots of singing in school. I think she will take after you in that department! Jordan has a teacher that was at YH and is doing great. I hear little updates. I love and miss you Deidre Louise!

Things are going. I start back to work on Monday. That has me quite depressed.

What should be my sister's birthday is tomorrow. That has me depressed.

Today was Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remebrance Day, the fact that I have a child to remember on this day, has me REALLY depressed.

How strapped we are financially right now with me off work, has me depressed.

My dad's toe has me worried.

My dad's health, has me worried.

The fact that I get stressed so easy, worries me.

The fact that I have to see a cancer doctor, REALLY stresses me out.

The fact that I have no idea what I'm doing most days, has me concerned.

dad's toe is re-infected. He can't seem to get rid of the infection. He has no bone left in the toe.. so at least it's not spreading to the bone! ;) (go with the positives!)

First day without Jason.. and I actually got more sleep than I did when he was home. More dishes.. but.. more sleep.. LOL!

busy

Trying to get a 2 year old and a month old on a schedule is HEYAL!! Emma is having some jealousy issues.. when we are trying to take care of Sadie's personal needs, then all of a sudden Emma needs one of us. Luckily, Jason has been home. Unfortunately, he returns to work on Monday. Soo.. ask me how my sanity is on Saturday. ;)

Emma has started potty training. Another looonnnnggg journey! SHE wanted to wear the big girl panties. SHE wanted to pee potty. Fine. I went with it. She did it!!! So now.. during the day when I have her, she is in panties of naked. When Jason has her, she is normally in a diaper. I love half ass potty training. *sigh*

Sadie is doing well, growing and changing so fast. She has started to smile for us occasionally. YAY!

Dad... I worry about him so. Last weekend he had a blood pressure issue, which seems to have resolved itself. They did adjust his medication, so we will see if that helps to keep it down. (shhh.. Aunt Nancy!)

Jason and I have battles as to him helping out around the house. He's great with the girls and helps out with them a lot. But, I need the help around the house too. He tends to tune me out, which ROYALLY pisses me off! We had a "conversation" this afternoon about it. He hears what he wants to hear in the conversation, then says I never told him the others when confronted. GRRR!!

Alright, enough of an update/rant for now.

I have pain now! OUCH! My back pain is back.. with a vengeance and my right shoulder is popping. Incidently, the back pain is also on the right. Odd. I'm also have pain in the front section of my stomach, that I'm monitoring, I wonder if it's my appendix now! SHEESH!

that I actually miss my big ol' pg belly? LOL! I was sooo miserable the last trimester, and yet.. I look at the budha belly pics and miss it so. Oh well, I will never have that chance again. My tubes were indeed done with the section.

Anyways.. I came on here to post a proud mommy moment! Emma has 15 stickers on her potty chart! YOU GO GIRL! I'm so proud of her. We only started (she wanted to start) 3 days ago! WOOHOO! so far today, we have had big girl panties on for 2 hours and NO accidents! :D Now.. poop is another issue.. LOL!

Emma is still doing a great job.. I haven't updated any candid shots.. so here are some of Em's! As of her 2 year check up, our big 2 year old weighed 31 pounds and was 35 inches high!

She's doing great! Peds were quite happy with her, no sign of jaundice! :D

We were given permission to let her make her own schedule basically. We were actually waking her to eat every 4 hours. They said.. let her sleep at night, we don't have to keep waking her! LOL!

Princess 2 is here!!!

Sadie came into the world on Sunday, September 2, 2007 at 3:11am!!!

She weighed.. ready?!?! .... 10 pounds 7.1 ounces! She was 20 and 3/4 inches long! BIG 'UN! LOL! She's a GREAT baby! We are so fortunate to have Emma, the helpful/diligent big sister and Sadie, a GREAT newborn!

STILL pregnant.. lol! I've been trying everything I know of to get Sadie out! GRRR! I'm so tired of hearing the doctors/midwives saying, "BIG baby!" you know what... if you thought she was so big.. or was worried about her being a big baby.. wouldn't you/couldn't you have gotten her out by now?!?! I get asked at least 2 times a week if I'm having twins.. lovely. GRRR!

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday Brennan. One year ago today, I was in the hospital.. holding my son. My preciousl ittle boy that was taken too soon from this earth. I can only hope that he's found a peace in heaven, and is with his great grandparents, feeling my love. I love you son. Never to be forgotten.

My "little" girl and general update

Emma is turning 2 in just a little over a month! EEK! I can't believe that 2 years has gone by all ready.. too quickly.

Update on her brains! She is constantly amazing me! She can do up to 4 word sentences already. She knows many of her letters and numbers, colors and shapes as well. She is very much an avid animal lover. You can ask her any animal and a sound.. and most times she will deliver.

Emma's swim lessons have finally started to pay off. The trick was for me to get in the water with her. She does more for the instructor. Lovely.. huge whale in the pool! LOL! Anyways.. she is now jumping off the side and going under like a pro. (granted.. someone is there to catch her!) If she has a life jacket on, she'll let go of your hands and try to make it to the "labler" herself! I'm not sure I'm too keen on this new found independance! ;)

Emma has received some birthday presents already. Big stuff! She got an outdoor play house from one set of grandparents and a sand/water table from the others. She absolutely ADORES both! I hear a tricycle is on the way from Great-Nana.. I'll be outside all day! LOL!

Thunder storms.. I've learned that they are not her cup of tea! We had some pretty severe ones last night, they lasted a while. I had put her to bed before they came.. well.. with a few BIG booms, she was up screaming and ended up in bed with me for a little. We turned all the lights off (outen them! :D ) and watched the light show from the lightening. Jason put her back in bed around 2am, only to have her wake up screaming bloody murder around 3am. Still having storm nightmares? Who knows.. I know that I didn't sleep all that well with a little body pressed TIGHTLY up against mine! LOL!


We had to put our beloved kitty to sleep on July 8th. We came home from the mountains to find him in his own urine and not able to move his back feet. The emergency vet hospital found that he had a blood clot that blocked blood flow to his feet and he was in big pain. I got his ashes back and am deciding what to do with them right now.

HAd another 3d u/s tonight. Not very good pictures out of it. Don't tell my hubby, as I told him it was totally worth it, but it really wasn't. LOL! Sadie doesn't seem to like having her picture taken.. so we didn't get any really good picturse of her face..:(

WOO freaking HOO!!!

High risk appointment Monday.. they are concerned about Sadie's weight. She is measuring about 3 pounds 1 ounce already. EEK! Isn't this the time when they are really suppose to gain?! ACK! Thankfully, I'm having a c-section! LOL! She looks good.. we got to see her kidneys this time too! :D Doc and tech were asking if I did the Gestational Diabetes test yet, I did it Tuesday. They basically told me that WHEN I fail it.. I will be followed even more closely.

Tuesday.. GD - Took Emma with me. We pulled into the parking lot of the lab and she pukes EVERYWHERE! EWW! Cleaned her up as quickly and as best as I could. I only had left myself so much time to do this test.. as I had an ob/gyn appointment at 9:50! Luckily.. I was right next door! ;) Anyways.. get inside.. and NO ONE is at the desk for a good 5 minutes. I got my drink, took Emma to the bathroom to wash her up quick.. as I couldn't stand the smell of her! Thankfully, I still had extra clothes in the diaper bag from the sitter's. Changed her, drank juice, and then sat for an hour and played.. read.. jumped.. etc.

Ob/gyn - Things are fine.. measuring at 28 weeks.. Doc asked about the GD test too! ARGH! At this point, I was convinced I was failing that test! Lost 3 pounds! YEAH!

Uh oh...

We are having a CHUNK! LOL! Little girl is measuring about 3 pounds 1 ounce. Much bigger than Emma was at this stage. They are really concerned about the gestational diabetes, which I still have to schedule that test. And yes.. it's still a girl!

I'm huge. 'Nuff said.

Heard the h/b yesterday on doppler finally at the doc office. Only the second time this pregnancy. Found out that I have an anterior placenta, which is most likely the reason why they haven't heard the h/b on the doppler. Baby was kicking the doppler machine.. hurt like the dickens. I was told for the size that this baby is.. it's STRONG! (no duh.. my bladder found that out last week!) Still no idea what we are having.. going to wait until the 3D ultrasound on the 4th.

Not much happening!

Next ob appointment is Thursday this week.

Emma got diagnosed with allergies and is on zyrtec. YEAH! It has made the BIGGEST difference for her! We are going to start potty training come June. Bday party is scheduled for the beginning of August. She starts swim lessons the second week of June as well.

School is almost out for the summer, 11 days left!

I promise more pics and news Monday.. as we will be with parents for the holiday! :D

Emma is growing too quickly!

She's up to approx 40 words.. some she repeats on a daily basis.. others not so often. She has started to say 2-3 word sentences/questions. She can sit and do wooden puzzles with you.. and will sometimes do them on her own. She LOVES to play outside! It's a struggle to keep her inside now! She is loving her new cousin. She wants to hold him all the time! TOO CUTE!

A FOOT! ROFL! Babe would't cooperate for the ultrasound today.. kept the foot there the entire time! For the good news.. we had the in-depth u/s today, and all looks good. The doctor at the clinic said that we have nothing to worry about for the development of the organs.. PHEW! Babe is measuring right on for 20 weeks.

Well..

We've reached the time in this pg when we found out that Brennan had passed. I'm a bit... not sure what the word is.. nervous/anxious/terrified for today's appointment.
