I may just cry

It's it too much for dh to think of me on mother's day? This would be my first "official" mother's day. I would bet you money that I receive nothing. If I do receive something, it will be as an afterthought on his part. Why do I think this? For one, I've already been told that mother's day is not a holiday. For two, we were watching TV when an add came on about mother's day and he started cursing say he forgot.. and was that really this weekend? Then he had the gall to ask me what I wanted for mother's day. *sigh* men. I just started crying. With everything else going on in my life, all that I do, it is too much to ask for a day of appreciation?
